HATTREESS BARBOUR III

Hattress Barbour III is a Harlem-based writer, poet, and performer dedicated to inspiring change through storytelling. He has graced iconic stages such as the Apollo Theater, SOB’s, and countless open mics across New York City, captivating audiences with his powerful words. As a youth advocate, he educates and empowers Black and Brown youth through workshops and programs that center on self-expression and community building. Hattress is the self-published author of If Ever We Were, a poetry collection released in 2020 that has sold over 5,000 copies. His work combines art and activism, creating spaces where stories spark dialogue and inspire action.
