Sheri Riley is an empowerment speaker, life strategist and best-selling author with the super power of helping champions maximize their potential through her 9 Principles of Exponential Living. And she is truly someone who has walked her talk. Originally hailing from Richmond, Kentucky, Sheri aspired to work in the music industry and live in Atlanta. Following college, she worked her way up from a part time position at a record store to Marketing Director at LaFace Records where she spearheaded promotional strategies for such artists as Usher, TLC, Outkast and Toni Braxton. She later went on to apply her savvy positioning skills to boost such brands as CVS, BMW, Converse and Nike. Today, go-getters, game-changers, movers and shakers can count on Sheri for guidance on how to live each minute of each day with peace, clarity and courage.

In 2008, Nailah Ellis Brown, the founder of Ellis Infinity Beverage Company, was living in her mother’s basement and selling hibiscus tea out of the trunk of her car. By 2014, she had opened her first beverage production and co-packaging facility in Detroit. Today, Nailah’s tea, Ellis Island Tropical Tea, is sold in over 500 stores and niche markets including Whole Foods, Sam’s Club, Meijer and Kroger. Nailah, who is also an accomplished singer and school teacher, has been honored as a 2017 Root 100 Most Influential African American, 2016 Forbes 30 Under 30, and the 2017 National Television Winner of Centric TV’s business reality series Queen Boss.

For more than 30 years, Terrez Marriott Thompson has been an invaluable leader at the Coca-Cola Company in roles ranging from operations and finance to procurement and volunteerism. Among her various positions at the world-renowned organization, she was senior leadership in Coca-Cola’s Global  Public Affairs where she led  the company’s $1 billion Empowerment and Entrepreneurial Program for minority and women-owned business.  As AVP, Executive Assistant & Program Manager of Coca-Cola North America Innovation, she led a major project to design and implement a new product innovation process for the Company’s largest business unit in addition to leading several strategic initiatives. In her current role as Vice President of Global Supplier Diversity, she leads the organization’s efforts to maximize procurement opportunities with diverse businesses as suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors of competitively-priced goods and services.

A communications and media strategist, Kelly Smith Beaty has managed the branding, crisis, public information and social advocacy needs of Fortune 500 CEOs, public officials, humanitarian leaders and celebrities alike. Her client roster has included Starbucks General Electric, US Ambassador Andrew Young, Singer Jill Scott, Actress Ruby Dee and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms. A brilliant essayist, Kelly has been published in the Huffington Post, Black Enterprise Magazine and the Atlanta Journal Constitution. As the President of the Girl Power Agency, Kelly leads the communication consultancy in its mission to deliver empowerment messages to women and girls globally via PR and influencer engagement, writing, graphic and digital design, and video production. Kelly most recently founded Glam4Grades which is a groundbreaking program that uses the power of beauty to encourage academic success in girls.

Though Tracy Nicole was drawn to fashion at a very young age, she initially worked as an Occupational Therapist. Her passion for fashion, however, had her taking classes at night despite the grueling demands of her day job. Now a 10-year veteran in the world of fashion design, Tracy has created looks for Rozonda “Chili” Thomas, Keisha Knight-Pulliam, Terri J. Vaughn, Jasmine Guy, and Mary Mary. Tracy’s creations are so fly that Essence, Best, Atlanta Voice, Lucky Magazine, Jezebel and Atlanta Style have all taken notice and shouter her praise. A breast cancer survivor, published author, and philanthropist, Tracy has launched a collection of clothing especially made for breast cancer patients and created the non-profit Perfect Peach Inc. to help build self-esteem in girls.

As a student at the University of Chicago Law School, Noni Ellison-Southall enrolled in the class Current Issues in Racism and the Law taught by none other than U.S. President Barack Obama. Though Noni credits that learning experience for her passionate participation in her community and her careful consideration of all perspectives, the excellence that propelled her into the positions of senior counsel for Turner Broadcasting System and Carestream Dental’s General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary was well-established within her. It’s no wonder that she’s has received the State Bar of Georgia’s Justice Benham Service to Community Award as well as an appointment to the Fulton County Board of Commissioners and the MARTA Board of Directors. Noni proudly serves on the on the Board of Visitors for the University of Chicago and the Atlanta Speech School. She is constantly lauded as a figure who truly represents the interests of the people.

Having recently signed a multi-album record deal with Fast Life Entertainment Worldwide and BMG, Amara La Negra has shared the stage with such music greats as Celia Cruz, Tito Puente and Gloria Estefan. Her Caribbean-inspired rhythms are addictive, her stage presence intoxicating. A tireless woman of action, Amara has launched her own clothing line and participated in countless initiatives to give back to her community. The clear and obvious breakout star of Love & Hip Hop Miami, this multi-faced singer/songwriter, actress, model and philanthropist has ignited a long overdue conversation on racism, colorism and the legacy of slavery in the Americas with her unapologetic embrace of her Afro-Latin heritage and her joyful celebration of cultural and physical blackness.
