All eyes of the natural beauty industry were on the Georgia International Convention Center this past weekend as thousands gathered for the World Natural Hair Health and Beauty Show. This two-day event is the world's largest natural hair show; sponsored by natural hair care leader, Taliah Waajid Black Earth Products. Now, in its fourteenth year, both beauty industry professionals and consumers travel from across the nation to attend this major event.
Rolling out attended The World Natural Hair Show in Atlanta over the weekend where natural hair product lines, demonstrations, and new companies made their debut and showcased their talents. The event, sponsored by Taliah Waajid Black Earth Products, took place at the Georgia International Convention Center where the line of eager attendees literally stretched out of the doors onto the sidewalk. Live performances included Mike Stone and the Kritikal Band, Ras Kofi, Monica Mason, Folami and spoken word artists.
The World Natural Hair and Beauty Show was founded by Taliah Waajid, a local stylist and celebrity on the African American natural hair circuit.
